As an insurance sales agent, is it better (more profitable/residuals) to sell life or property insurance?

Sell whole life policies. It doesn’t matter what company. They are all equally evil.
I am an agent for Farmers Insurance and I have the ability to sell both, but I would NOT recommend working for Farmers now as their new contracts for agents are very strict. If I were just starting out, I would be an independent broker and get appointed with different p&c and life companies and have many places to send business. Nobody ever said you have to be one or the other! Commercial insurance and health insurance are fun too!
