State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, Auto Club.
Yep, the state insurance websites for the “tri state” areas.
Keep in mind, there are at least seven different areas of the USA, where there are three states touching and call themselves the “tri state area”. So, if you’re talking about WV, OH, and PA, go to the Ohio Insurance department website, and you can get a list of all insurance companies licensed to sell homeowners in Ohio. Ditto for WV and PA. And there are HUNDREDS. But the websites are listed at the insurance department website.
Car253 gave you a good list. I would rate State Farm first by a long shot. Stay away from Farmers at all cost! And remember….you get what you pay for.
I suggest filling out a form at. A local agent will call you and discuss the different companies in your local area. Good luck.
