Turn the claim in, tell the truth, and see if the insurance company will pay. Two weeks ago, I had a client call me, and he had done the same thing you did. We filed the claim with the company, and much to my surprise, it was covered. I can't guarantee your company will cover this claim, but its worth a shot. Don’t lie about what happened.
