You’d have to ask the insurance agent. If it doesn’t cover it, they may be able to suggest a different, short term policy that would meet your needs.
I believe that a standard home owners policy (in PA) will cover 10% of your stuff anywhere.
Insurance is a state by state thing, you must CHECK YOUR POLICY.
I’m sure you would want to be at your new home. Best to contact the insurance company or agent and tell them what you intend to do.
Boy, have several of my clients found this out the hard way.
THE ANSWER IS NO.
NONE of the major or the minor carriers cover a move.
None of them..you can purchase moving insurance online for damages caused by the movers.
