		<description>file a police report first.  then file the claim.  they will pay you actual cash value of the items and once you replace them and submit receipts showing you have done so, they will pay you the difference to replacement cost of the items.</description>

		<description>Sure they&#039;ll pay out. As an adjuster, you can&#039;t expect everyone to keep EVERY receipt for every item in their home. Make sure you file the police report first though, because most policies will have an exclusion that won&#039;t pay out if you didn&#039;t file a report.</description>
