IF it was insured and some one distroyed it. AND if they dont pay GET an attorney make them pay.
Get your existing in affect home owners policy out. Read everything about the homeowners coverage. If you cannot find the policy, go to your agency & tell them you’ve misplaced your policy & need another. They will likely ask you if something is wrong,go ahead & tell them your retaining wall is coming down & NEED home owners help to replace it.
Always be courteous with your insurance guys, they are more apt to help if we aren’t ugly & bickering with them all the time.
If they are forever short & non helpful,I would tell you to switch companies. I did a few yrs ago & saved $600 my 1st yr on my auto ins alone. Next thing I knew my husband switched our autos, home & rental property insurance to this company,they handed us a check for $5000 when water flooded 2 rooms of my house from a pipe that froze upstairs-with no questions asked.
