Lucylulu asked:
I was just told by someone that a new law/regulation? has been passed & insurance carriers will cancel you if you own a Mastiff dog. We were actually getting ready to put a deposit down on one of these dogs next week but thought I should check first as this could definitely complicate things a bit. These dogs are not aggressive so I don’t understand why they would be on the list. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks~

greg y asked: Home has an unpermitted room and bathroom downstairs. There’s damage caused to the home such as a fire let’s say, and the source of the damage is *not* the unpermitted units. Would insurance still provide compensation?
I’d **** to have to cough up all the money to legalize these units, which came with the house when purchased.

December asked: I currently have my business insurance with NationWide, AND it is the worst EVER, I need to switch to another insurance company that’s able to write business policy for both property and automobile.
Please suggest some good and reputable ones, thank you.

Anthony F asked: I live in a hurricane zone and apart from that I have always been afraid of fire or earthquakes. The cost is almost prohibitive, but my house is now insured, in time for the hurricane season and I feel so much more relieved.
My friend says one of the dictums of insurance is that if you can replace it yourself then you shouldn’t insure; if you can’t then you should.
What do you think?

My son’s ankle was cut on the end of a supermkt checkout counter when he tried to go around customers at a display the store setup right beside the exit. Bill was $400, insur co says he was jumping so they won’t aren’t liable for anything. Studied law, don’t care too much for lawyers.
